11/11/17  There's been little to report this past month.  Late fall yields both less fishing pressure and typically a tougherr bite.  Water temperatures are sharply dropping and things are setting up for an early ice season.  Its hard to remember it, but even last year we were on the ice in December.  Similarly, we are experiencing good cold nights, with last nights temps dropping into the mid teens.  We've got a ways to go yet and the long term forecast looks good to keep chilling the lakes.

As the ice starts to form, you can check here or our facebook page for up to date conditions. We will have more regular reports starting in December.

Right now, little is happening locally.  Anglers arer catching some walleyes and smallies in the Tioga and Cowanesque spillways.  Nightcrawlers and fatheads have worked best.  The trout are biting too at Hamilton Lake.  Various spoons and spinners are working, as well as chartruese powerbait, live minnows, and mealworms.
