As of Tuesday, 7/31, Hammond is open and at normal levels. Water clarity is close to normal with some spots of dirtier water. Temps fell to the mid 70's.
Cowanesque is also still open. Tioga, however, remains closed at this time.
The Tackle Shack 3 Day Bass tournament was a great success again this year. Check out our facebook page for pictures and results from the event. Quite a few 5+ lb bass were weighed in, plus lots of other nice 3-4 lbers. Anglers picked up a few musky, walleye, and stripers too. You can find all that info here- https://www.facebook.com/wellsborotackleshack/
Pine Creek is still running high. Your best bet for fishing here this week, would be the upper stretches of Pine. Be careful wading. With more rain expected, be sure to check out the gauges before heading out- https://waterdata.usgs.gov/pa/nwis/uv?site_no=01548500 . On the plus side, temps have dropped considerably and we should have good trout fishing through the next couple weeks if water levels cooperate!
Cowanesque spillway is fishing well. Reports of muskies, smallmouth, and a few walleye have been coming in. Live baits have worked best for most people. Try a large or medium shiner.
