Across the county, the lakes took a beating this week with warm weather and rain.  The edges are gone on a bunch of the lakes, and quite a bit of ice was lost. A few people were out on Hills Creek still, but we do not have a report on ice thickness.  The season is definitely coming to an end.  We may squeeze out another day or two with some cold weather today, but conditions are not going to improve.  Warmer weather is coming and more rain is moving in next week.  Use extreme caution if you fish on any of the lakes.  Longer days and warming water below the ice can change conditions fast.

It's been a great season, and we thank you all for your continued support at Tackle Shack.  Spring is on its way and we are gearing up for warm weather and open water fun.

Trout stocking is underway across the region. The PFBC is always looking for volunteers to help stock.  Check out the PFBC's website for the stocking schedule.
