More rain is moving through the area, but not much precipitation is expected.  Pine and many of the smaller streams are murky, but fishable.  Check the gauges or give us a call for updated information on levels/clarity these next few days.  Trout fishing has been good on Pine and if we don't get much rain, the fishing should be good through the week.  Asaph Run, Stony Fork, and Crooked Creek are all fishing well right now too.  Pink salmon eggs, butterworms, wax worms, and live minnows are all working.

Crappies are still biting at Tioga, Hammond, and Cowanesque.  Live minnows are working well, but so are crappie magnets, slider grubs, and a variety of small hardbaits.  The Eurotackle Z-viber has been a popular bait this week too.  Try the Chartruese or Chrome/Blue.  Fish are in various stages of the spawn with some fish done and some fish just coming in.  We should see good fishing for a few more weeks.  A few hybrid stripers are being caught at Hammond too on crappie magnets and similar crappie jigs.

Tioga River and the spillway are fishing well for walleye and smallmouth.  medium shiners, fatheads, and nightcrawlers are working.  Also try small firetiger or white swimbaits, and similar colored grubs.  Rapala Shadow Raps and Husky jerks are catching fish too.  A few hybrid stripers have been caught using nightcrawlers.

Muskies are being caught on Cowanesque and in the spillway.  Swimbait have worked for them.  Green, white, and perch patterns have been best.  Or, try a live large shiner or sucker for  bait.

Good luck out there
