Little to update this week. With hunting seasons kicking off, angling pressure it at a minimum on the local lakes and streams. Anglers have been catching nice panfish at both Hills Creek and Nessmuk. A few noted trout are biting well at Hamilton too.
Frosty nights are starting to cool down the lakes. Small ponds and puddles have iced over a few nights. Though I doubt we'll see major ice formation in the next 10 days, the lakes are getting primed and ready for the winter cold snaps in December!
